Scene — a bug on the screen
The Ueno office is quiet after lunch. Mori-san stands beside Leo at his desk, a tablet in one hand.
On the screen, a puzzle piece that should lock in place keeps sliding left.
She wants him to follow the last few steps before they send a report.

These six lines let you pause a talk and check the other person is still with you.
You can ask for questions, offer to repeat, and check if your explanation is clear.
ここまで、わかりましたか。
Did you follow that so far?
When to use it: Use this after a few steps to check the listener followed you.
まで marks the point you have reached in the talk.
何か質問はありますか。
Any questions?
When to use it: Use this when you pause a talk and want questions.
は marks 質問 as the topic when you ask if any questions exist.
Say it: Give ん in 質問 its own beat; do not skip it.
ここまででわからないところはありますか。
Is anything unclear up to here?
When to use it: Use this when you want them to name any unclear part so far.
で after まで means in the stretch you have covered so far.
この部分は分かりますか。
Is this part clear?
When to use it: Point at one step or one bit of a screen and check that piece.
は marks this one part as the topic, not the whole explanation.
もう一度言いましょうか。
Shall I say that again?
When to use it: Offer this when a face looks lost, before they have to ask.
ましょうか makes a polite offer to say the same thing one more time.
Say it: しょう in 言いましょう is a long vowel; do not cut it short.
私の説明、分かりやすいですか。
Am I explaining this clearly?
When to use it: Use this after a longer explanation if you want honest feedback.
の links 私 and 説明, so you are asking about your own explanation.
Story — the sliding piece
Mori-san walks Leo through a bug in the puzzle game. She checks he is following and offers to say a step again.

- Leoなるほど。That makes sense.
