Free Japanese lessons with guided practice, audio, and speaking support.

Welcome — a quick, friendly lesson to practice confirming things politely. You’ll listen, repeat, and use short confirmations just like people do in Japan.

Level A1: In this short CEFR-aligned lesson you’ll learn two useful confirmation phrases: これでいいですか。(Kore de ii desu ka.) and たぶん大丈夫です。(Tabun daijōbu desu.). You'll practice asking if something is okay and giving a cautious yes — handy for shops, offices, and everyday checks. This is lesson 153 — small, practical, and ready to use.

After this lesson you'll be able to:

  • Understand and say これでいいですか。(Kore de ii desu ka.) — “Is this okay?”
  • Understand and say たぶん大丈夫です。(Tabun daijōbu desu.) — “It’s probably okay.”
  • Use these phrases in short, polite conversations (Level A1).
