Welcome! In this short lesson we'll focus on two very useful phrases when dealing with forms, deliveries, and reception desks. Practice listening, repeating, and using them in a tiny conversation.

Level A1: This lesson (Lesson 168) teaches two polite Japanese phrases you'll hear in Japan when filling forms or receiving deliveries: 「ここに書いてください。」 (Koko ni kaite kudasai.) and 「サインをお願いします。」 (Sain o onegai shimasu.). You'll practice hearing them, repeating them aloud, and using them in short practice questions — a CEFR-aligned, focused mini-lesson for busy learners.

After this lesson you'll be able to:

  • Recognize and say 「ここに書いてください。」 (Koko ni kaite kudasai.) — “Please write it here.”
  • Recognize and say 「サインをお願いします。」 (Sain o onegai shimasu.) — “Your signature, please.”
  • Use these phrases correctly at a reception, on a delivery, or when filling forms.
