Ready to chat about where you live? This short lesson helps you describe your room, rent, and the area around your home. Have fun — imagine showing a friend your neighborhood in Japanese!
Level A2: In this lesson you'll practice polite, everyday phrases for talking about your home: saying you have a private room, asking and saying rent, describing your neighborhood and building features, how long you've lived somewhere, and saying you're looking for a new place. This CEFR-aligned set is practical and ready for real conversations — think: a neighbor chat or a rental search.
After this lesson you'll be able to:
Be able to say whether you have your own room and how much space you have.
Ask and answer questions about monthly rent and how long someone has lived somewhere (A2).
Describe your neighborhood and what your building has, and say if you're looking for a new room.
