After this lesson you'll be able to:

I have a reservation.
Meaning: I have a reservation.
When to use: Say this when you arrive at a restaurant, hotel, clinic, salon, or event to let staff know you already booked.
Tip: Beginners sometimes say 予約がある instead; 予約しています is more natural and polite when speaking to staff.
予約しています。田中でお願いしています。
Yoyaku shite imasu. Tanaka de onegaishite imasu.
I have a reservation. It's under Tanaka, please.
すみません、予約しています。名前はスミスです。

The table is for two people.
