When to use: Use this to tell someone your school year. Put a number in the blank, for example: 「3年生です。」If you want a school stage add it: 「高校2年生です。」

Tip: 数字を入れる場所を忘れる初心者がいます。例:『3年生です』と数字+年生の形を忘れずに。

私は3年生です。

When to use: Use this to tell someone which school subject you like most. Put the subject name in the blank: 「一番好きな科目は音楽です。」
