Free Japanese lessons with guided practice, audio, and speaking support.

Ready to book things with confidence? This short lesson helps you handle appointments politely in Japanese — phone calls, reception desks, or online chats. Listen, repeat, then practice in short drills.

Level A2: In Lesson 118 we'll practice polite phrases for appointments (予約). You'll learn how to ask for openings, pick a time, confirm details, change or cancel, and say you're running late. This CEFR-aligned mini-lesson focuses on real phrases you can use at hospitals, salons, or offices.

After this lesson you'll be able to:

  • Ask about availability and available times using polite Japanese.
  • Make, change, confirm, or cancel an appointment naturally (A2).
  • Practice short dialogues and speak each phrase aloud for real-world use.
