Level A2: In this lesson you'll practice 13 polite agreement and confirmation phrases used to agree, accept suggestions, and show understanding (for example: はい、その通りです。 (Hai, sono tōri desu.), いいですね。 (Ii desu ne.)). This CEFR-aligned set helps you respond naturally in meetings, chats, and plans. Lesson 80 gives lots of short examples and speaking prompts so you can quickly use these phrases.

After this lesson you'll be able to:

Tip: Beginners sometimes use 大丈夫? (Daijōbu?) to ask 'Are you okay?' instead of saying 大丈夫です。 to reassure.
