Lesson 51 of 240

New here? This is lesson 51 of a free 240-lesson Japanese course.

Add me on the app in Japanese

Haruka meets Leo at Kissa Hotaru with her phone already open. She wants his LINE, the app Tokyo friends use to chat, send stickers, and share a pin.

She holds up a QR code. Leo bows at the screen, then scans. After that, a sticker lands.

You will ask to exchange LINE, show a code, ask someone to scan, then send a sticker or a location and check it arrived.

By the end of this lesson

Add a friend on LINE and send a code, a sticker, or a pin.

On the wooden table, her phone shows a bright square. A blend coffee sits untouched two seats over.

Haruka slides into the booth with her sketchbook while Leo is already seated and Goro occupies two seats nearby.
