Welcome to lesson 68 — let’s talk about plans! This short lesson helps you say what you plan to do, what you’re thinking about, and how certain (or not) your plans are. Have fun imagining the future in Japanese.

Level B1: In this lesson you’ll practice useful polite phrases for future plans and intentions, like ___予定です。, ___ことを考えています。, まだ決めていません。, and several ways to say “it depends” or “I might.” These phrases help you explain plans, conditions, and uncertainty in personal life conversations. (CEFR-aligned)

After this lesson you'll be able to:

  • Practice B1-level phrases to state plans, intentions, and uncertainty in polite Japanese.
  • Be able to ask about and answer someone’s plans (e.g., ___は何をする予定ですか。).
  • Learn conditional and softer ways to describe future possibilities (e.g., うまくいけば~ます、もし~なら~かもしれません).
