Sometimes the best Mandarin is not fancy—it is the little phrase that helps a friend breathe again.

Level A2: In this lesson, you’ll practice three warm encouragement phrases: 我們一起___吧。 (Wǒmen yìqǐ ___ ba.), 每個人都會犯錯。 (Měi ge rén dōu huì fàncuò.), and 你已經盡力了。 (Nǐ yǐjīng jìnlì le.). You’ll learn how to suggest doing something together, reassure someone after a mistake, and recognize their effort. Tiny phrases, big friendship energy—very Yak Yacker-approved.

After this lesson you'll be able to:

  • Use 我們一起___吧。 (Wǒmen yìqǐ ___ ba.) to offer supportive shared effort.
  • Say 每個人都會犯錯。 (Měi ge rén dōu huì fàncuò.) to comfort someone after a mistake.
  • Use 你已經盡力了。 (Nǐ yǐjīng jìnlì le.) to recognize someone’s effort at A2 level.
