Free traditional Chinese lessons with Taiwan Mandarin audio and speaking practice.

Welcome back! Today we’re peeking into daily routines—the friendly, nosy kind of peeking.

Level A2: In this lesson, you’ll practice saying what you usually do, what you do every day, and what you rarely or never do. You’ll also ask people how often they do something with 你多久___一次? (Nǐ duōjiǔ ___ yí cì?) and talk about changing habits like 我在試著多___一點。 (Wǒ zài shìzhe duō ___ yìdiǎn.) Tiny routines, big yak energy.

After this lesson you'll be able to:

  • Describe daily habits with 我早上通常會___。 (Wǒ zǎoshang tōngcháng huì ___.) and 我每天都___。 (Wǒ měitiān dōu ___.)
  • Ask about someone’s routine using 你平常會___嗎? (Nǐ píngcháng huì ___ ma?) and 你多久___一次? (Nǐ duōjiǔ ___ yí cì?)
  • Say something is occasional, rare, or never part of your routine with 我有時候會___。 (Wǒ yǒu shíhòu huì ___.), 我最近很少___。 (Wǒ zuìjìn hěn shǎo ___.), and 我晚上從來不___。 (Wǒ wǎnshàng cónglái bù ___.)
