Welcome back! Today we’re moving from “I like it” to “I can actually talk about this for hours.” Much more you, much less textbook robot.
Level B1: In this lesson, you’ll practice richer phrases for comparing interests, saying you enjoy something casually, asking what someone likes most, and inviting recommendations. You’ll also learn how to talk about current topics you’re following and open the door to different opinions—perfect for real conversations that don’t run out of steam.
After this lesson you'll be able to:
Compare two interests and say which one attracts you more.
Say you enjoy a topic without claiming to be an expert.
Ask thoughtful follow-up questions about someone else’s interests.
At B1, keep an interest-based conversation going with recommendations, current topics, and different viewpoints.
Ready? Let's go!
