When to use it: Ask this when you need the bus that goes to a destination.
Camión commonly means bus in Mexico; learn the question as one piece.
Say it: Camión sounds like kah-mee-OHN, stressed on the last syllable.
¿Este tren va a ___?
Does this train go to ___?
When to use it: Ask this while checking whether a specific train reaches your destination.
Este means this, so point to the train or its sign.
Say it: Este sounds like EHS-teh, with two clear syllables.
¿A qué hora sale el ___?
What time does the ___ leave?
When to use it: Ask about the departure time of a bus, train, or other vehicle.
Sale means leaves here; the subject comes after el.
Say it: Hora starts with a soft breath, not an English h sound.
¿Cuánto cuesta un boleto a ___?
How much is a ticket to ___?
When to use it: Ask the price of one ticket to a destination.
Boleto means ticket, and un shows that you want one.
Say it: Cuánto begins with KWAHN-toh; keep the first syllable strong.
¿Qué andén necesito para ___?
Which platform do I need for ___?
When to use it: Ask which platform serves your bus, train, or destination.
Andén means platform; para introduces your destination or service.
Say it: Andén sounds like ahn-DEN, stressed on the second syllable.
¿Dónde me bajo?
Where do I get off?
When to use it: Ask where you should get off during a bus or train trip.
Me bajo means I get off; learn this travel question as one chunk.
Say it: Bajo sounds like BAH-hoh, with a soft Spanish j sound.
¿Tengo que cambiar de tren?
Do I have to change trains?
When to use it: Ask whether your trip requires changing to another train.
Tengo que expresses necessity; cambiar de tren means change trains.
Say it: Cambiar has two syllables: kahm-BYAR, not KAM-bee-ar.
