Free Spanish lessons with guided practice, audio, and speaking support.

Welcome to Lesson 58 — a relaxed session about hobbies and what people do for fun. We'll practice short phrases you can use to ask, answer, and invite someone to join an activity.

Level A2: In this lesson you'll learn and practice common Spanish phrases for talking about hobbies and free time: saying what you like to do, asking about someone's hobbies, describing when you do things, admitting you aren't very skilled, and inviting someone to join you. This CEFR-aligned lesson focuses on natural conversational frames you can reuse today in real chats.

After this lesson you'll be able to:

  • Ask and answer simple questions about hobbies (e.g., ¿Qué te gusta hacer en tu tiempo libre?).
  • Say what you like, when you usually do it, and your favorite hobby.
  • Invite a friend and explain if you’re learning or not very good at an activity.
  • Practice pronunciation and speaking aloud with A2-level phrases.
A casual scene of people asking and answering about hobbies in Spanish, perfect for A2 learners.
