Welcome! This short lesson helps you make and confirm plans in Spanish. Practice hearing, repeating, and using polite phrases that people actually say.

Level A2: In this CEFR-aligned lesson (129) you'll practice common phrases for making plans: proposing activities, checking times/places, accepting or postponing, and confirming a plan. We'll listen to short examples, do quick quizzes, and say each phrase out loud so you can use them next time you arrange something with friends.

After this lesson you'll be able to:

  • Understand and use key A2 phrases for suggesting and confirming plans.
  • Practice polite ways to postpone or delay a decision.
  • Say aloud and respond naturally with times, places, and confirmations.

1. Reading + Listening Practice

Hear core phrases, repeat aloud.

Meaning: I'll be there at ___.

When to use: Best when the placeholder is a time, e.g., '5' or 'cinco'. Use to confirm your arrival time.

Tip: Don't forget the preposition 'a' — say 'llego a las cinco', not 'llego las cinco'.

Llego a las 5.
I'll be there at 5.
Llego a las ocho.
I'll arrive at eight.

¿Podemos vernos en algún lugar cerca de ___?
