The next day, Justin returns to the clothing shop with the bag from yesterday. He has the item, the receipt, and a few practical questions.

The clerk is helping him at the counter while Amanda heads out to work.

  1. Justin tells the clerk that the garment does not fit by holding it against himself with a worried expression.

    Queda means fits here; learn the whole chunk as one useful piece.

    Can I exchange this?

    When to use it: Ask this when you want to exchange an item for another one.

    Cambiar means to exchange or change; esto means this.

  3. Justin asks whether he can return the item by presenting the bag and receipt at the counter.

    Can I return this?

    When to use it: Ask this when you want to give an item back to the store.

    Devolver means to return something; esto points to the item.

    How long does delivery take?

    When to use it: Ask this when you need to know the delivery time.

    Tarda asks how long something takes; entrega means delivery.
