Welcome to Lesson 73 — a friendly dive into talking about your interests. We'll practice phrases to compare hobbies, ask for opinions, and say what you follow right now.

Level B1: In this lesson you'll learn useful phrases for talking about interests: comparing two interests, saying you enjoy something without claiming expertise, expressing strong enthusiasm, asking what someone likes most, asking for recommendations, and saying what you follow lately. This lesson is CEFR-aligned and set up for short listening, guided practice, and speaking-out-loud work. Lesson 73 keeps things practical and conversational.

After this lesson you'll be able to:

  • Compare two interests with 'Je m'intéresse plus à ... qu'à ...'.
  • Say 'I'm not an expert, but I enjoy ...' with 'Je ne suis pas expert(e), mais j'aime bien ...'.
  • Express strong enthusiasm: 'Je pourrais parler de ... pendant des heures.'
  • Ask what someone likes most and ask for recommendations using 'Qu'est-ce que tu aimes le plus dans ... ?' and 'Tu peux me conseiller quelque chose sur ... ?'.
