Free French lessons with guided practice, audio, and speaking support.

Welcome! This short lesson helps you handle common restaurant moments in French: asking for a table, reading the menu, ordering and modifying dishes. Be friendly and practice out loud — it helps your mouth learn the sounds.

Level A2: In this lesson you'll practice polite restaurant phrases you'll actually use: requesting a table, asking for the menu, ordering (and changing) items, checking if a dish is spicy, requesting water, splitting the bill, and handling reservations and waiting times. This CEFR-aligned pack (Lesson 102) focuses on useful, polite mini-conversations in cafés and small restaurants.

After this lesson you'll be able to:

  • Ask for a table and check availability (A2-level polite forms).
  • Request the menu and order or modify dishes politely.
  • Handle practical needs: water, wait time, outside seating, reservations, and paying separately.
