Welcome! In this lesson we'll explore practical phrases to talk about interests and curiosity in French. Read, listen, and try the phrases aloud — short, friendly practice to help you speak more naturally.

Level B1: This lesson focuses on phrases for talking about interests — saying what you like, asking what someone is into, explaining why, and describing how you spend your time. You'll practice questions like "Tu t'intéresses à quoi ?", present-tense frames such as "Je m'intéresse à ...", and ways to explain why something matters to you. The lesson is CEFR-aligned and built for everyday conversation.

After this lesson you'll be able to:

  • Use B1-level phrases to say what you are interested in and why.
  • Ask about someone’s current interests and respond naturally.
