Let's look at the important words in the story. These animals and things appear again and again. Learning them helps you understand and enjoy the story.

The story repeats many words. This makes it easy for you to remember! Look at the phrase 'The sky is falling!' Chicken Little says it many times. To tell someone's words, we use 'says' before the words.
The animals all use simple words together. 'I go with you' means they go together. 'We go to the king' tells us where they are going.
