Quick Notes That Make Doctor Visits Less Awkward

“哪裡不舒服?” (Nǎlǐ bù shūfu?) means “Where do you feel unwell?” A simple answer is “我+部位+痛/不舒服” like 我肚子痛 or 我喉嚨不舒服.

“掛號” is the registration step before you see the doctor. If you’re in Taiwan, you’ll often be asked for your 健保卡 (NHI card).
