Ready for another tasty lesson? We'll focus on the everyday phrases people use when talking about food — perfect for ordering, chatting, or avoiding something you can't eat. Have fun and say the lines out loud!
Level A2: In this lesson (62) you'll practice common phrases to say what you like and don't like to eat, explain dietary restrictions, ask about ingredients, and talk about what you usually eat. We'll listen, repeat, and do quick quizzes so you can use these lines naturally in real conversations (CEFR-aligned). A small Yak Yacker nibble: these phrases are the kind that keep dinner plans moving.
After this lesson you'll be able to:
Learn to say what you like, don't like, and what you usually eat using phrases such as 我喜欢吃___ (Wǒ xǐhuan chī ___).
Ask and answer simple questions about favorite foods and ingredients, e.g. 你最喜欢吃什么? (Nǐ zuì xǐhuan chī shénme?).
Explain dietary limits politely (我不能吃___。Wǒ bù néng chī ___.) and say you are vegetarian (我吃素。Wǒ chī sù.).
Practice A2-level speaking: repeat, answer mini-dialogue questions, and complete quick quizzes.
