Welcome! In this short lesson you'll practice natural ways to talk about your home in Chinese — rent, rooms, neighborhood, and whether you want to move. Have fun and say the phrases out loud so they stick!

Level A2: Lesson 51 focuses on practical phrases about housing — saying you have your own room, asking about rent, describing space and nearby facilities, and saying you want to find a new place. This lesson is CEFR-aligned and built for quick listening, repetition, and short conversation practice.

After this lesson you'll be able to:

  • Recognize and say simple housing phrases like 房租多少钱?(Fángzū duōshǎo qián?) and 我有自己的房间。(Wǒ yǒu zìjǐ de fángjiān.)
  • Ask and answer basic questions about rent, building facilities, and how long someone has lived somewhere.
  • Describe your neighborhood and whether your place has enough space.
  • Practice speaking each target phrase aloud to build confidence (Level A2).
