Welcome to Lesson 127 — a friendly practice session for when plans need to change. These short lessons help you sound natural while staying polite.
Take your time: listen, repeat, and try the short speaking prompts aloud.
Level A2: In this lesson you'll practice common phrases for cancelling, delaying, or rescheduling plans in everyday conversation. We'll focus on asking which day works (哪天你最方便?), suggesting alternatives (___会不会更合适?), explaining you can't make it (今天我不方便了 / 那时候我有别的安排。), and telling someone you might be late or will update them soon. This CEFR-aligned pack helps you handle small schedule changes smoothly.
After this lesson you'll be able to:
Ask and suggest alternative times (e.g. 哪天你最方便?; ___会不会更合适?).
Explain you can’t make the original plan (今天我不方便了; 那时候我有别的安排。).
Politely ask to delay, say you might be late, or promise to update someone (能往后推一点吗?; 我可能会晚一点到; 我尽快告诉你).
Level A2: Practice speaking these phrases out loud so they become automatic in real chats.
Ready? Let's go!
