Level A1: In this lesson you’ll learn simple, polite ways to accept, refuse, or ask if something is necessary. You’ll practice phrases like 我需要___吗？(Wǒ xūyào ___ ma?) and 不用了吗，谢谢。(Bú yòng le, xièxie.) through listening, quick quizzes, and speaking aloud. This CEFR-aligned mini-lesson (12) focuses on everyday wants and needs — ordering, refusing extra, and checking if something is required.
After this lesson you'll be able to:
- Recognize and say polite refusals like 不用了，谢谢。(Bú yòng le, xièxie.)
- Ask if you need something with 我需要___吗？(Wǒ xūyào ___ ma?) and 我一定要___吗？(Wǒ yídìng yào ___ ma?).
- Say you don’t need or don’t have to do something: 我不需要___。(Wǒ bù xūyào ___.) and 我不用___。(Wǒ búyòng ___.)
- Choose or ask for small amounts politely: 我要这个，谢谢。(Wǒ yào zhège, xièxie.) and 要一点，谢谢。(Yào yìdiǎn, xièxie.)
