English - Frequency

Lesson 37 of 139

A weekly planner with simple activities like exercise, study, and coffee, supporting English learning about frequency.

Goal: Talk about how often things happen

Free English lessons with audio, guided practice, and speaking support.

Welcome back! Today we’re putting habits on a little weekly calendar: gym, coffee, calls, chores, and all the “not very often” things too.

By the end, you’ll have easy phrases for asking and answering “how often?” without doing math in your head. Yak Yacker approves: frequent practice, not frequent panic.

Level A2: In this lesson, you’ll practice friendly ways to ask about habits and routines. You’ll use phrases like “Do you often…?”, “How many times a week do you…?”, “I usually…,” and “About three times a week.” These chunks help you sound natural when you talk about everyday life.

After this lesson you'll be able to:

  • Ask if someone does something often.
  • Say how many times you do something in a week or month.
  • Use usually, sometimes, don’t very often, and never to describe habits.
  • Give short natural answers like “About two times a week.”
