Welcome back — Lesson 29! Ready to shape your opinions in Chinese? This short lesson helps you say what you think, ask why, and respond politely in everyday conversations. Have fun — a little Yak Yack never hurt anyone!

Level B1: In this CEFR-aligned lesson you'll practice common opinion phrases like 我觉得吧,___。 (wǒ juéde ba, ___.) and 你对___怎么看? (nǐ duì ___ zěnme kàn?). We'll focus on softening statements, giving support or opposition, and asking for reasons — all useful for discussions and debates.

  • Express support, opposition, or mixed feelings: 我支持___。 (wǒ zhīchí ___。), 我反对___。 (wǒ fǎnduì ___。), 我对___有点纠结。 (wǒ duì ___ yǒudiǎn jiūjié).
  • Ask for and respond to reasons: 你为什么这么说? (nǐ wèishénme zhème shuō?) and 你对___怎么看? (nǐ duì ___ zěnme kàn?).
  • Practice speaking these phrases aloud and using them in a short dialogue.
