When to use: Ask about someone's job or main activity—neutral everyday question.

Tip: 有些人说“你做什么工作?”,也可以,但在问法上加“是…的”会更自然有礼。

你是做什么工作的?我在医院工作。

Nǐ shì zuò shénme gōngzuò de? Wǒ zài yīyuàn gōngzuò.
