Ready for another real-life scenario? In this B1 lesson we'll practice phrases you actually need at the clinic — clear, useful, and spoken like people in mainland China.
You'll listen, repeat, and use short sentences to describe symptoms, ask about contagion, medicine, and allergies. Keep it practical and a little brave — doctors appreciate clear information!
Level B1: In this lesson you will practice key phrases for a doctor visit — saying how long symptoms have lasted (我___已经___天了。), describing pain (我___疼。), asking if something is contagious (这个会传染吗?), asking about medicine (这个药多久吃一次?) and more. This CEFR-aligned pack helps you explain persistent or worsening symptoms and ask the right questions at the clinic. Lesson 113 focuses on natural, spoken Chinese you can use right away.
After this lesson you'll be able to:
Describe symptoms, pain location and duration in natural Chinese (e.g. 我发烧已经三天了)。
Ask practical clinic questions like 'Is it contagious?' (这个会传染吗?) and 'How often take this medicine?' (这个药多久吃一次?).
Report severity and allergies and ask how long recovery will take (不太严重,但一直不好。; 我对___过敏。).
Use B1-level phrases to communicate clearly with medical staff.
